Hi, I am Cassandra Marie.

Hi! I’m Cassandra, and I am absolutely obsessed with the stories told by pictures. When I look at photos, my imagination carries me into their world where I explore every detail and fall in love with the characters. I’ve always known that I wanted to create my own stories through photography, and I’m amazed that it’s exactly what I get to do now!

My second obsession is seeing people who are happy. My goal is to draw out genuine smiles throughout a photo shoot, and then preserve that moment as a precious memory. My clients receive finished images that they never dreamed of, but now can’t live without.

Photography is not just storytelling, but it’s also a dynamic way to preserve history. As we get older and share pictures from our past with the next generation, we give our loved ones a sense of family, belonging, and legacy that they could never get in a social studies class. As a portrait photographer, my goal is to help people record their history in familiar settings that spark nostalgia and amazing memories.

I feel that it’s a great honor to be invited into someone’s life to help tell their story. I love to watch couples and families interact with each other. I encourage them to act naturally while I fade into the background and capture the mood, the love, and the affection. I want every photo session to be stress-free and comfortable so that the happiness I capture is genuine. When people look back at their photos, I want them to remember what a great day that was and how much fun they had.

My hope is that my clients will use me as their official storyteller. As I carefully preserve each milestone – maternity, newborn, birthdays, family, senior portraits, engagements – one family’s journey becomes a beautiful story told in pictures.
